There was some surreal manga in manga magazines… like character is warping through a alternate dimension or traveling to a 4 dimensional world, so this was the point where I began to get into more surreal different manga.I cant remember but these manga I was reading were probably influenced by the world of Osamu Tezuka (you know who he is right? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Osamu_Tezuka ), and Tezuka himself was influenced by Walt Disney animation.
So in a way you could say that through the work tezuka I myself was subconsciously influenced by Walt Disney, even if I wasn’t aware of it!
I myself had yet to see a Disney animated movie for myself…I realized that there was a world beyond the bland boring countryside life I was growing up in.
