It was in first grade that I would see my first Disney animated film, snow white…I thought this Disney animation was the new shit! I didn’t know if it was a new movie or a rerun but… I was so over whelmed by the craftsmanship of the animation- it took my breath away!

This was the first time I saw full animation, full animation being the smooth graceful 24 frames a second animation…not rough a cheaply made… but made to look like art!

After this I saw Xiyou Ji , which was animated by Toei (who also animated dragonball and made the Godzilla movies), but at the time Toei was in the golden age, much like Disney was at the time, and I was thinking manga is great, but animated film is so much more!
