When I was in first grade, the first issue of the monthly magazine COM for people was published… Since it was a magazine aiming at the readers who wanted to be professional, so many amateur artists would send their work to that magazine.

And there was a grading system and the artist who would get the highest grade during that year and in the past... one particular artist, his artwork was fantastic and his art style was the kind of one I myself was aiming to achieve.

His articulate sense to depict the human body was beyond amateur….his artistic sensibility and ability to compose manga was miles greater than the average reader… surprisingly though, he didn’t go into the field of manga, but instead… went into the field of anime… and he would go onto create transformers…but he was not just the creator, he also created the sequence of robot transforming into vehicle and vice versa.

I discovered him accidentally soon after I left my hometown of Osaka and came to Tokyo…and ever since then we have been friends! ^^

So I thought manga brought people together.
