I passed the high school exam as one of the top 500 students.

The counselor called me to the office and mentioned about it, he said he knew I made it and he told me `we are proud of you maeda!`
… I just bluntly replied- `it is just vocational school, this is the lowest level…` these were kind remarks, but all in all they didn’t make me happy.

All I wanted was to enter to the design school, where I could be amongst people of the same interests as me and develop my skills further!

I found out actually there was a design class in architectual school…which took place on Saturdays… they would have a life drawing class.

I was recalling the remarks of the manga big cheese… who said a pro manga artist needs to do a lot of sketching.

I thought `oh well, this is the way, this is what I should embrace,` remembering his sound advice!
