They knew I had past the point of becoming a good student, so the teachers just gave up on me, and let me get on with whatever…In vocational school some students were really rough, like breaking glasses and throwing paper balls at the teacher, but I was better than those cretins!

I thought I was lucky to be there, and didn’t hate it so much!

My work is beginning to become professional like around this time… the background art I was doing was becoming so real and friends and acquaintances were really surprised!

It really impacted on them, I think then they took me for real and not amateur! I thought I needed to brush up my drawing skills, since I kept making mistakes…

Because I thought that only the skills you need to be a pro are in drawing and not original ideas… I guess I was kinda dumb in believing that.

Sometimes I thought I should send the work to a publisher…I lost my interest in sending my work to the COM, the manga magazine anymore…my interest is just in general manga magazines.
