I left the paper containing the new address in Tokyo, all this seemed kinda clichéd of the typical teenage run away from home boy… I feel I fell in that mold… of cause my mom didn’t accept my request to get out of there and do what I wanted…I know that any mom who has a 16 year old son who is planning to quit high school and suddenly go to the otherside of the country definitely would oppose it… so… `sorry mom!` ^^;
I stuffed my t shirts and belongings into a small bag, and went got a ticket on the next train to shin-osaka station with my best friends… they waved me bye bye as I boarded the train to Tokyo…I was leaving my hometown and should be sad but I wasn’t, I was happy! –my entire career was smiling infront of me… I knew great things awaited my presence in Tokyo! ^^
I only had 5,000 yen ($60 usd)… but I was on my way to something that was burning in heart ever since I was as young as I could remember… so… I didn’t give a shit! After I settled in Tokyo I could go to kanda town, which is reputable for having loads of 2nd hand bookshops. the possibilities are high that they posses many rare rental manga, which are like treasure to me!
I was a bravened fool to go out to Tokyo alone… and I was only a 16 year old kid.
